Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
In short, NO. They may actually help you to grow your hair! Extensions are a great way to add highlights or dimension without chemically altering your hair. Always make sure to have your extensions applied by a professonal and follow the at home care to make sure you keep your natural hair, extensions ( and stylist ) happy!
How do I maintain my hair extensions at home?
Always use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Only condition from mids to ends.
Always use a heat protectant.
Never ever ever ever (ok ok you get the point) sleep with wet hair! make sure the roots are 100 percent dry to avoid tangling or matting.
Securing your extension hair with one hand to prevent tension on the roots, use a soft bristle brush to brush your hair at least twice a day from roots to ends.
How long will my extensions last?
It is recomended to have your PHANTOM TAPE extenisons moved up every 5 - 6 weeks and your PHANTOM WEFT every 6 - 8 weeks.
How often do I need to buy new hair?
With proper maintenace, Alchymia hair extensions can be re used for 12 months!
